Despite the forecast for rain and chilly morning temperatures in the high 40s, we had a good turnout for World Tai Chi Day! Several visitors from out of the area joined us, adding to the positive energy of the event. Everyone practiced the Yang Style Long Form together, with our guests doing a wonderful job following along.
Afterward, those familiar with the Yang Style 67-Movement Sword Form stayed to practice it together. A special thank you to Bill C., who brought drinks and snacks for everyone to enjoy. Many of us stayed afterward to chat and catch up for about an hour.
For anyone who missed this event: we meet every Saturday at 8:00 a.m. in the McConnell Arboretum and Gardens to practice Tai Chi. All are welcome — whether you know Tai Chi or not — to come and follow along with us!
